Diving Right into the Beautiful Gardens
Our bus will pick us up Heathrow and go directly to Savill Garden near Windsor Great Park’s. It is a woodland garden park excellence, with magnolias, rhododendrons, pieris and dogwoods under tree canopies of oaks and pines.
We will also enjoy the amazing gazebo before ending the visit and leave for Bath and check-inn at The Abbey Hotel. Afternoon is free for exploring Bath. We will meet at 5 pm at The Pump Room for Afternoon Tea, before we enjoy a dinner together in the hotel.
The Old Banker’s Famous Garden
After breakfast we will visit Stourhead where the banker Henry Hoare built his famous garden 1747-1789, inspired by antique environments. A small lake was buildt in the landscape garden surrounded by temples, statues and woodland plantings. We will have a guided tour and thereafter lunch and some free time before we go to Batcombe House & Garden where we will meet with the owner, garden designer Libby Russell.

Morning visit at Iford Manor, by many considered the most beautiful garden in England, designed by Harold Peto, architect and landscape architect who fell in love with Italy. Guided tour by the owners before lunch in Castle Combe.

Free afternoon in Bath, known around the world for its remarkably preserved Roman Baths and Georgian splendour, Bath is the only UK city to be designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The restorative quality of the hot springs that bubble up naturally has been recognised since the earliest of times and still draws visitors in their droves today. The City is packed with places to eat, drink, shop and dream of days gone by.

Garden Tour & Garden Talk
Morning visit at Spilsbury Farm, the private garden of Tania Compton, garden designer. We will have a guided tour in her beautiful, wild garden and talk to her about garden design in England today.
Lunch at local pub.
Visit at Heale House & Garden, beautifully situated near the river Avon and running through the garden. The house was built in the latter part of the sixteenth century by Sir William Greene. It was bought by the Hon. Louis Greville in 1894 – great uncle of the present owner who commissioned Harold Peto for the design.
Dinner with the group.
An Italian Finish to our Tour in England
Check-out and leave Bath for Cliveden Garden in Buckinghamshire famous for its Italian villa and a rose garden with hundreds of English Austin roses. The garden is in the Italian mode of the nineteenth century Mixed Style. A balustrade was brought from the garden of the Villa Borghese in Rome, in 1896. Sir Geoffrey Jellicoe designed a Rose Garden for Lord Astor in 1959.
